Reno Fernley Raceway is a modern motor sports facility located in northwestern Nevada.  The Property sits atop 422 pristine acres in the foothills between Reno and Fernley. The Racetrack boasts over four miles of paved high performance roadway which can be used in 10 separate configurations. Track paving is asphalt and 50 feet in width encompassing sufficient distance to stage three or more different “driving tracks”. Terrain is varied and captures: moderate to extreme elevation changes; hair-pin turns; off camber turns; blind turns and hill crests; increasing radius turns; decreasing radius turns; merging lanes; esses; and a dedicated skid-pad area. The paddock area includes seven acres for parking and vehicle storage.

Fernley is a high desert location and experiences 4 seasons. Elevation is 4300 feet. Climate is warm during summer when temperatures tend to be in the 70's and cold during winter when temperatures tend to be in the 30's. (Fahrenheit) The annual average precipitation at Fernley is 6.02 Inches. Rainfall is fairly evenly distributed throughout the year. The wettest month of the year is March with an average rainfall of 0.70 Inches. It does snow and Reno Fernley Race Track is prepared to remove snow from Driver Training Ranges if the need arises. Mean snowfall is 2.4 inches.

Fernley is a growing community with nearly 20,000 people located in Lyon County, just 30 miles East of Reno. Founded in 1904 as primarily an agricultural and ranching community, Fernley was recently one of the five fastest growing cities in the United States.  The Raceway is four miles from town where one will find restaurants, hotels and shopping.  In addition to the 40 acre paintball facility (link herbies)  on the Raceway grounds, Lyon County offers hunting, boating, fishing, and many historic sites.

Lake LaHontan is 15 miles away-a favorite spot for boating with locals as well as tourists.
