Open Lapping / Test & Tune Dates

Are you getting your car or motorcycle ready for a big race, or do you just want to come out and feel the exhilaration of high speed and horsepower? Reno Fernley Raceway’s Open Lapping and Test and Tune days are the time for you and your friends to have some real fun. Sessions are created for motorcycles, cars and competition prepared vehicles. Track Safety programs are available and are required for first time drivers at the track. This day is all about fun and speed; no tickets will be issued. See our calendar of events.

Drag Racing

“Grudge Racing” is how we use the quarter mile Drag Strip at Reno Fernley Raceway, often under the stars on one of those famous crystal clear Nevada nights. (Of course, we light the strip also) Throw down the challenge to your friends and foes to see who has the fastest ride and bring as many witnesses as you can so there is no doubt who crosses the finish line first. The Reno Fernley Raceway participates in the annual Hot August Nights drag racing, so check out our calendar.
